Merry Christmas, and a happy new year! Do not plan on any updates until the holidays are over, but when I get back to you next year expect updates on the audiobook.

The Failed Technomancer

I should be getting some very late-game updates on the cover today, and if I’m fortunate enough to have a final draft in my hands I might have one followup post before December is over, and that will be a picture of the cover!

Beyond that, copyedits are going well! I’ll be applying those next week between moments with family.

Pausing Grand Odyssey

I’ve decided to pause work on Grand Odyssey temporarily. After putting so much work into The Failed Technomancer, I decided I wanted to finish the Robot Cannibal Apocalypse trilogy sooner than originally promised. This is partially because my head is swirling with the world and characters of those books, partially because working on the book so consistently makes it really difficult to disengage and work on other writing projects. I don’t think I’d be able to do a new book justice while this active in revisions on another book.

That said, I will still be revising Inner Demons when I get the manuscript evaluation from my editor, so there’s still the possibility of two books getting released next year, one science fantasy and the other just fantasy. For whatever reason revising two books at once doesn’t seem to mess with my creative flow as much as mashing together revision and creation. We’ll see how things develop!
