The Failed Technomancer and Other Projects
The proofs have come in! Here’s a sample spread:

I love the work Kristy has done. It’s easy to read, looks sleek, has some fun techno-flourishes… It’s great. Admittedly, I don’t have a ton of adjectives to describe a well-done layout of words on a page, but I like the font, I like the spacing, I like the overall organization, it all does a great job at looking right when you’re just glancing over the page while still being easy to read when you’re going through the story.
I’m a little over 100 pages through the proofread, with the goal to be finished by the end of Tuesday or Wednesday—then the proof goes back, Kristy applies the minor edits I’ve made, and the final ebook and pdfs get printed. Then The Failed Technomancer will finally be published! If you want an update the day that happens, sign up on the Subscribe button below my face on the top left-hand side of the screen. Eventually that’s going to be converted to a newsletter as well, but for now it will just notify you on blog posts.
As for other stuff, writing continues on Grand Odyssey, and if I remember the dates correctly I’ll get Inner Demon back late this month. Things just keep rolling!
Bloggyness
I’ve moved on from Half a King to its sequel, Half the World, and I must say I like this book significantly better. More on that when I’ve finished—best be careful not to spoil something nearly a decade old, eh?
For those that have asked, thank you, the water situation has been fixed and my floors are no longer sweating. In fact, they are bone dry, as I prefer them to be, and promise to stay that way.
And that’s about all the “bloggyness” I have in me at this moment. I’ll be back next week!
