Hello, friends! Just a short update this week. My weekend… was very busy.

I discovered something that made me laugh last week, and I hope it will do the same for you:

I, for one, welcome a future where it becomes scientific canon that dinosaurs all looked kinda like grungy rock stars.

The Failed Technomancer, chapter 34, is live! 64Bit and his friends are on the run from Zed, but their options for escape are becoming increasingly narrow… Will they pull it off anyway?

Writing Update

I’m going to hold off on Hazel Halfwhisker word count updates until I finish my revisions and start writing primarily new story again.

That said, I do need to provide some sort of update. Since I don’t think word count is a good tracker for progress while revising, at least not the type of revision I’m doing right now, I think focused time spent revising is the best way to suggest how much work I’ve put into it. And that focused time spent revising I would average at about forty-five minutes a day. I try to write in three thirty-minute blocks during the work week (morning, lunch, night), because that’s the time I have, but it’s not uncommon for one or two of these segments to get disrupted—family has to take priority, after all, especially when the toddler is screaming.

I really should be done with these revisions before the week is over, however, and then I can move on to new writing.
